Jennifer was the first Deputy Chief Constable to join the Surrey Police Service (SPS), in British Columbia (Canada), in January 2021. She is in charge of the Support Services Bureau where she oversees the recruitment and hiring of over 800 police officers, a crucial part in the creation of SPS.
On this episode, you'll hear that rather than taking a traditional statistical approach to policing and recruitment, she uses a human centred approach.

He's involved in politics, been the Governor of all of the NHS Foundation hospitals across Sheffield, managing a billion-pounds worth of budget, and in 2015 he founded "Union Blue".

Dr. Kathryn Murray is the founder of Future Strong Education Consultancy and has over 40 years of experience in the education sector. Kathryn is a global consultant and has written and published numerous articles for teachers and parents in international magazines and academic journals. She is the developer of the Brain-SET Formula© for Classroom Design, a process for creating an intentional classroom environment that supports the brain's safety, emotional and thinking needs. Kathryn has won multiple awards for online teaching at the university level and was recently named Best Early Childhood Mentor (International).
She began her career as an early childhood classroom teacher working with children and their families for 25 years. Kathryn went on to teach at the university level, training educators, coaching parents and supporting community organizations has been an amazing journey in the world of education that has extended from her classroom days.
Kathryn feels blessed to have had the opportunity to support educators and parents to give children the best possible start in life and a strong future.
Kathryn’s qualifications include: Doctor of Education, Masters in Learning Management, Bachelor of Education, Diploma of Teaching (Primary/Preschool), Certificate IV Training and Assessment as well as numerous certificates in education based professional development.

Keith is a recently retired senior police officer who spent more than 30 years in the first and second largest police forces in the country.
He states that one of his greatest achievements during his time was setting up the cultural and communities resource unit in London, before moving to the West Midlands.
He has recently had the honour of being appointed as the Chair of the Youth Justice Board for England and Wales, as a board member responsible for the over representation of black Asian and minority ethnic young people in the youth justice system, across England and Wales.
He was appointed by the Prime Minister as a Commissioner on the UK Race and Ethnic Disparities Commission.
He is Trustee for Sport Birmingham and the 999 Cenotaph.
He is also an ambassador clean sheet and a patron for the Old St Monicans and Employability UK. He is passionate about ensuring that every young person is given the opportunity to be themselves and flourish. He also believes that offenders deserve to be given a chance to become a productive part of society.
Keith is committed to using his past experience to support the skills agenda, power of sport to help turn communities around and supporting people and organisations to reach their full potential. Passionate about people being themselves and being valued for that.
He enjoys walking and family time.
