007: Human Centred Policing in Canada - Jennifer Hyland
Tuesday Jan 25, 2022
Tuesday Jan 25, 2022
Kul Mahay has over 3 decades experience in the leadership space. He works with organisations and leaders to develop powerful cultures of high value, and performance which is built all around their people.
On this episode he's chatting with Jennifer Hyland.
Jennifer was the first Deputy Chief Constable to join the Surrey Police Service (SPS), in British Columbia (Canada), in January 2021. She is in charge of the Support Services Bureau where she oversees the recruitment and hiring of over 800 police officers, a crucial part in the creation of SPS.
On this episode, you'll hear that rather than taking a traditional statistical approach to policing and recruitment, she uses a human centred approach.
